Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2022, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Loved and cherished mother of Peter. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Of Paraparaumu. Peacefully on Sunday, 1st January 2023. Beloved wife of Bill, and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Stacey & Steve, Kevin, Lynda & Kim, Marc & Ellie, and the late Karla. Much loved Nana of Shelley & Dylan, Blair & Finlay, Kate, Ashton, Reuben, Lily, Amber & Nate and their expected baby, Hollie, and Riley. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Graham & Gail, and John & Barbara, and loved sister-in-law of John & Raewyn, Ian & Esther, Kevin & Leesa, and Michael. A service to celebrate Raelene’s life will be held at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9–11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, at 11.00am, on Tuesday, 10 January 2023, to be followed by private cremation. Passed peacefully at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton. Dearly loved wife of Rod. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Irene and Tom Evans (Christchurch) and the late Robert Webster, Richard and the late Joy (Tasmania), the late Lance, and Rachel Powell (Hinds). Loved Nana of Erica (nee Webster) and Kori Howse, Kerwin and Belinda Webster, and Coby Powell. Loved great-Nana of Aroha and Tane Howse, and Billy Webster, Summer and Shyla. Loved daughter of the late Eric and Peggy Anderson (Blenheim), and daughter-in-law of the late Fred and Hazel Sowman (Blenheim). Loved sister and sister-in-law of the Anderson and Sowman families. On December 31, 2022, peacefully at Arvida St Albans, aged 86 years. Dearly loved and adored wife of the late Dood, loved mother of Dana, Tracy, and Darren, much loved grandmother of Scott, Julia, Holly, Nicholas, Lucy, Maddy, Isabel, and Eve. MORRIS, Margery

Passed away at Christchurch Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in her 93rd year. Much loved wife of the late Jack, much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Allison and Steve Bell, Gill and Bill Davies, and Kathryn Morris, beloved Grandma of Jodie, Sarah, Lucy, Blake, Calem, Martyn, Melanie, Sally, Jack, and Arlo, and a cherished Great-Grandma.
Sadly missed.

Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on January 1st, 2023, aged 83 years. Dearly loved wife of Denis. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Kim, Debra & Chris, Tracy & Melissa, Allysa & Ross. Loving Granny of Matthew, Eve, Helene and Will.
She will be dearly missed.


A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Grey Street, Hamilton East (entrance off Beale Street) on Saturday 7th January at 11.00am, followed by private burial. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Loved stepmother and stepmother-in-law of Lyall and Lyn. Loved nana of Angela, Olivia, and Cameron, and great-nana of Thomas, George, and Cooper. A requiem mass for Marie will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Catholic Basilica, 3 Timaru Road, Waimate, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Waimate Public Cemetery. Born August 8, 1947 in Nukunonu, Tokelau. Passed away in Christchurch on December 22, 2022. Son of the late Iaheto Ioane Vaka, Nukunonu, and the late Tepua Vitolino, Fakaofo, of Tokelau. Cherished and beloved brother, the late Kasileta, Melialowha, Suliana, Lufina, Filisika, Ateliana, Lemisio, Lusila and Salota. Loved uncle to many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Peggy departed this world, her family and friends, peacefully after many years of poor health. We will always celebrate her life, rich in love, laughter, learning and values, and those legacies continue to enrich the generations after her. She was hugely loved. Maria, Mike and Leanne; David, Romany, Rosanna, Rhys and Adam; Bhakti, Veda Sara, Amara and Autumn; Ben and Bob; Martin and Steve. The funeral service for Peggy will be held a the Motueka Funeral Centre, 8 Inglis St, Motueka, on Thursday, January 12, 2022, commencing at 1.30pm.

Dearly loved wife of Nicolas for 67 wonderful years. Loving mama to John and Anna and Vasili and Jodie. Adored and cherished by her grandchildren Alexandra and husband Aidan, Nicolas and partner Kayla, Philip and partner Jordyn, Catherine, Elizabeth, George, Lucas, Antonia, Christina, David and Michael. Loved aunty and devoted friend to many in New Zealand and overseas. Many thanks to the staff of Elderslea Care Centre for their compassionate support.
We will always fondly remember our many happy moments together.

Died peacefully after a brief illness, in Greymouth, with loving family by his side, on January 2, 2023, aged 77. Passed peacefully January 1, 2023, aged 62. After a 10 month illness. Adoring mother of the late Benson, “ The love of her life”. Loving and much loved daughter of Joan and Paul Davies (Christchurch). Loved and cherished sister and sister-in-law of Caren and Andrew Reid (Collie, Western Australia), and loved sister of Kelvin (Toowoomba, Queensland). Loved Aunty of James Reid (Collie) and Cooper Davies (Noosa Queensland). Respected, loved and generous friend to many in Kaikoura and the Marlborough regions. “Remembered by all as a First Class Chef and Restaurateur.” The Funeral Service to celebrate Debbie’s life will take place on January 7, 2023, at The Upper Room, King Tide, West End, Kaikoura, at 1.30pm.
