Completed exterior weather boards and facia

Nicole from Kevin Steel Painters & Decorators

These exterior weatherboarda were in pretty bad condition, not having any work done on them in 20+ years. The paint had peeled right off the weather boards. Pur process includes sanding, sealing/undercoating, filling, under coating filler, then finishing off with two top coats of the chosen colour. Sanding in between all coats is essential as it gives us a smooth surface to work with.

Hard work in the hot weather but a bonus is that everything dries very quickly and we are able to get the job done quickly.

Take advantage of the hot weather if you are looking to have your exterior spruced up 😊

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
