Most of us like to be inspired, but some of us appreciate motivational talks more than others. Would you go to an inspirational/motivational talk if it is free, paid or by donation? Or does it depend on other factors, like who is giving the talk or what the topic is about?

My husband Nate and I moved to Somerfield a couple of months ago so I thought I'd post up and say hello! I also wanted to share something we have been working on - some of you may have seen news of a Christchurch cat cafe in the media this week. We're the couple behind the cafe and would absolutely love it if anyone is able to support our Kickstarter campaign which we have set up to help us out with some of the start-up costs. If you can't donate, sharing the campaign with your friends would help us a lot too! You can check it out here: www.kickstarter.com... If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask! :)

I've had an email from Flick explaining why our bill has doubled the past few weeks and thought it was quite informative for all of you to know also. See email below! 👇🏽
Spot price forecast
Over the past fortnight, the spot price in the South Island has sat around 11.2 cents ($0.112).
Our forecast suggests that this will lift to 11.4 cents ($0.114) over the coming month.
So there will probably be some weeks that you’ll be paying more with Flick than you did with your old retailer.
But these higher prices follow 102 consecutive weeks of savings that Flick has delivered to Flicksters. So if you can weather a few bad weeks, we know you’ll still be better off in the long run.
We’ll keep updating you on the forecast as these dry conditions continue.
How long will high prices last?
History tells us that Dry Winter conditions happen once every four or five years, and last from three to eight weeks, so we expect these conditions to be over by mid-August.
But this could all change suddenly if there’s decent rainfall in the right places in the South Island. There’s rain forecast for later this week so it seems the mass finger-crossing happening at Flick HQ may be working!
