Led lighting bad for your health
People should be concerned with these new LED street lights. These are bad for your health and environment. They have lots of glare and disrupt our sleeping patterns as well as research suggests the blue light admitted maybe effecting our eye sight.

Also as far as reducing crime lighting has been shown to increase crime. If lighting alone reduced crime then figures would reflect this but has not been shown to be the case.
