Next committee meeting of the Ilam and Upper Riccarton Residents Association
Our next meeting is confirmed for 5.30pm on Wednesday 20th November at the Ilam Homestead, Corner of Ilam Road and Homestead Lane. All residents are welcome, so if you have any questions about living in the area, any suggestions for improvements to the area you'd like to discuss, or any issues affecting residents you'd like us to assist with, please come along. Otherwise, please contact our Secretary, Sue, with any issues you'd like to see raised at the meeting.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
