Chch GP does runner (moves) to another Med Centre then closes all his books!!!

Our Gp Doctor Oliver Setchell,(ex Ferry Road Medical Centre) decided end of 2017 that he would move from FRMC (as we found out recently) to North Avon Medical Centre and all the books there have been closed!! So if any patients wanted to continue with him as a GP...that wont happen!!! Anybody in Chch have this happen to them and what action did you take?? AND,Yes we know,Find another Doctor!!! Its not as simple as it seems,believe me!!! Cheers.

My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
