Somerfield Park "Our Community" Mural Competition Launch Event

Julie Tobbell from Somerfield Residents Association

Our community has a great opportunity to reflect our ideas /visions for what our community represents on the Sports Pavillion wall at Somerfield Park. Ultimately it will be painted according to what designs our community / individuals submit to our Mural committee (formed via a Safe Growth initiative /funding opportunity).
However before the final paint design may be decided on our community is having a Competition Launch Event on Sunday 12th November from 2-4pm.
This Free event not only gives our community & families a great opportunity to make designs on the allocated wall with chalk but it also gives everyone an opportunity to meet together and have a Free Coffee/ Drink and Free Pizza together!!
For any individuals who may not wish to put their designs on the Pavillion wall - we will have large pieces of paper and plenty of coloured pencils / crayons for you to submit your designs that way!
Some of our Safe Growth committee will also have a survey which
We would love to see many of you there!
Who wouldn't want a Free Coffee or Free Pizza & possibly other treats!!

Response to regifting presents

Gordon from Halswell

My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
