Cat Cafe Coming Soon to Christchurch
Hi everyone! My husband Nate and I moved to Somerfield a couple of months ago so I thought I'd post up and say hello! I also wanted to share something we have been working on - some of you may have seen news of a Christchurch cat cafe in the media this week. We're the couple behind the cafe and would absolutely love it if anyone is able to support our Kickstarter campaign which we have set up to help us out with some of the start-up costs. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
