Diets and fasting never stopped me bingeing and vomiting
There was never a time I did not have a fascination for food. I regularly stole money and stole food thinking that it was normal to want to eat all the time. Many people must have gone without milk when I pinched the coins out of the milk bottles of people in my street, I would rush to the dairy and then have the agony of deciding what to buy. When I left home and got my first job, my very first pay went on packets of bite-sized chocolate bars which were hidden under my bed.
Where do you find the best bargains in Canterbury?
The first South Island edition of the Reduced to Clear outlet store opened in Christchurch’s South City mall this month. It sells end-of-the-line products, cancelled exports or short-dated items - similar to other discount grocers in the city such as Save More and BargainMe.

I didn’t think I had a problem with food. I just needed to get my life together. I was a recent college graduate and uncertain about my future. Once I made my dreams come true and conquered my segment of society, I’d be fine. Food didn’t have anything to do with it. All it did was steal away the mental energy I should have been using to find a new job and memorise important information.
