EDIT: FOUND! Darcy, lost again - blind and needs meds - missing from Pūriri Street

Tanja from Riccarton

EDIT: FOUND! By complete chance, just two streets away, and thanks to another cat who gave him a fright, so he emerged from wherever he had been hiding! Thank you all for your kind concern!
And nice to meet you neighbours whose doors I knocked on!

Good morning neighbours,
Darcy has not returned this morning. He normally sticks to the house in Pūriri Street in the morning, but today he has not come back for breakfast.
Can you please keep an eye out for him? He is blind and will be disorientated.
He needs daily heart medication.
Please check under your decking and in your garages and bushes, and my gratitude will be eternal.
My number is 02102444478.
Thank you! Tanja

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
