Unconsented Residential Buildings in Christchurch.
It is of serious, genuine and major concern to note many new residences appearing in Christchurch are being built with no resource consent being obtained. Sadly, when reports of these types of occurrences have been lodged, little or no prompt action is considered important or necessary. Quite recently a major house fire completely destroyed a similar residence and the residents lost everything, including furniture, Xmas Presents etc. Fortunately, the residents escaped without any injury.
