Centaurus Combined Probus

Lynley from Hillsborough

It's that time again! The Centaurus Combined Probus Club will be holding it's June meeting on Tuesday afternoon (June 3rd) at the Cashmere Club. (Note: there is no July meeting - we have other plans!)
If you are retired or semi-retired and looking to meet new people and try some new activities, or just find someone else who enjoys doing what you like to do! then the Probus group is a great place to do this.

We are a friendly bunch and love meeting new people too! Come along on Tues and find out if this group is for you.

The Meeting starts at 2pm so it would be wise to arrive 15-20mins earlier so that we can greet you and make you comfortable.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
