Work starts on new Linwood swimming pool
The Linwood/Woolston community has celebrated the start of construction work on the eagerly-awaited Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool.
The $22 million facility is being built in Linwood Park on the corner of Linwood Avenue and Smith Street.

You will find us in the basement rooms of Cashmere Presbyterian Church (entry via the driveway for 58 Dyers Pass Road)
Our Christmas hours are:
Monday 22nd December, 10am – 3pm
Wednesday 24th December, 10am – 12noon
Friday 26th December (Boxing Day), 10am – 1pm (last day for the year).
We will reopen with our usual hours on Thursday 8th January 2026
