Hi my name is Patsy Eastwood, I have lived in Avonhead in the same house since 1976. I have some really lovely neighbours, but there are many that I don’t know, or only know to say hello to. The neighbourhood has changed a lot since we moved here. I spend a lot of time planning all the things I need to do in the garden, or house, and sometimes I actually manage to stop procrastinating and actually do things.

This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
