Heathcote Valley School Craft Market Sunday 5th May 10am til 1pm
There is a craft market this Sunday at Heathcote Valley School Hall with candles, stained glass, origami, altered books, bags, leather goods, felt, knitted and crochet goods, jewellery, accessories, clothes and dress ups for the little people in your life and wonderful coffee made by our student baristas. Gifts for all sorts of occasions. Even a Harry Potter platform 9 3/4 tuck shop!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
