Covid update - National figures
Wow, a wee bit of a reality check as the National figures skyrocketed to nearly double. It shows hoe easy it is to flare up if we drop out guards
Canterbury did rise from 310 to 444 but the rest of the country rose by even more, hence our % of the National figure dropped but we did have 134 more cases.
With the winter Cold and Flu floating around, Stay safe folks.

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
