Welcome to Halswell Bags
We are about to create a new batch of welcome bags!!!
These bags are available from Te Hapua, the Community Hub and other places around the community and contain information to help people new to our community to settle in and feel welcome.
If you have any information that you would like included please contact Kate on 0204 1276083 or halswell.comm@gmail.com.
Be creative - think about what sets your group/business apart. How can you make an impact? What do people want to know? What shows best what you do?
Businesses are encouraged to provide a small gift or voucher to be included in the welcome bags.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
