Setting up a Repair Cafe / Fixit event in Halswell

Chrys Horn from Halswell Community Project

Are you interested in being part of a Repair Café event or events in Halswell? Repair cafes are places where people can bring stuff to be fixed or to get advice on fixing it. We are hoping to have people who can repair or advise on the repair of everything from clothes to bikes, appliances, tools or furniture.
If you are interested in being involved, You are invited to a meeting to start planning on Tuesday 30th May 7.30-9.00 pm at Te Hapua.
Contact chrys.horn@xtra.co.nz or
phone/text 0272 86 86 53.
Please let us know if you are interested in being involved. If you can’t come to the meeting also let us know so we can keep you in the loop.
If you are interested to find out more Google "repair café" to see what has happened in other communities!
