I was saddened to read today that another GREAT All Black has died.
I well remember watching the great Waka Nathan playing - he was dynamic and was part of that great era of All Blacks who were real men not just pumped up gym products.
Wakas loss will be felt by the older rugby community who will recall with fondness and pride those GREAT All Blacks who toured for months overseas with little compensation and no huge team of support specialists plus they played the whole 80 minutes of the game.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
