House-sitting wanted!
Kia Ora!
We’re Freddie and Frankie! We are housesitters here in Christchurch, and we're on the hunt again for houses to sit! We are a couple who have been living in Christchurch over the past year and have been housesitting full time! We are very responsible and friendly people, with lots of experience in home sitting. We recently housesat a home in cashmere for 4 months, looking after the property, security, garden etc. We will be very respectful of your home and privacy, and will keep your home safe and sound while you are away. We are big animal lovers, and would love to take care of your pet(s) while you're away, including making sure your pet(s) get plenty of exercise and lots of pats. We have looked after cats, dogs, fish and birds during our previous house-sitting.
Freddie is into his fifth year studying Law at Canterbury Uni and is currently working at Hohepa doing gardening/grounds maintenance. Frankie is studying languages at UC and working part time.
We are available from the 12th of January 2020 but please message any other dates past this! We have great availablity during the year and would love to hear from you about any dates you have available! We can provide multiple positive references from previous housesits :) We don't charge any money, so we're far cheeper than a kennel!
Thanks, Freddie and Frankie :)

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
