Rooftop bar coming for restored art deco Christchurch Public Trust Office
An art deco high rise saved from the wrecking ball in central Christchurch will reopen in early 2020 with a rooftop bar.
The new bar on the top of the Public Trust Office building on Oxford Tce will be the first of its kind to open in the city, its backers claim.
Jeremy Stevens, who co-owns Aikmans bar in Merivale, said the bar will be called Mr Brightside and be able to hold about 100 people.
