The less water we use, the faster we can upgrade our wells. It all adds up, and we really appreciate people’s efforts.
The biggest demand for household water comes from garden sprinklers and irrigators. A better option is to use a hose with a spray gun, or a watering can. Better still, water only on alternate days between 9pm and 7am, when it's cooler.

Art is for everyone - any age, any ability, from absolute beginners to experienced artists. Come and join our friendly and happy group of men, women and teenagers from all walks of life, from Christchurch and the wider Canterbury areas.
We work in all mediums, at all experience levels, with a resident tutor and visiting tutors up to twice a year.
We create all year – February to December, Tuesday evenings, 7.15 to 9.15 p.m. at Christchurch Girls High School. State School holidays observed.
Annual fees: $240. A $50.00 deposit payable immediately, with balance due on 12 February 2018.
A short term payment system can be looked at if there is a problem with the annual fee.
Art materials additional. Please discuss with Courtney
There will be a workshop/class for beginners and other artists on Saturday 2 February 2018, in Loburn, North Canterbury. This will include drawing exercises, practical art hints and information with some painting etc. It will be from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The $50.00 deposit secures your place in this workshop. Address will be given on payment of this deposit. Please contact Courtney for Account number.
