Polyanthus

Lynne Neighbourly Lead from Northwood

A couple of days ago I purchased several Polyanthus plants which were already in flower. The last two mornings we have found that several of them have had the flowers bitten or chewed off but not eaten. They are in our back garden so it has to be birds or rabbits or something else. I have had lots of these plants before and not had this problem so wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same and if anyone one knows what it is for sure and how to stop it. Thanks
