new to the area
Hello, do excuse the long message I have a few questions.
1. Anyone got any recommendations for someone that can service a lawn mower locally and probably needs blades sharpened.
2. Does anyone know about gas heating. I am used to very hot water and I find the water is not that hot in new house. Have put the thermo up as high as it goes but wondering if it is a safety thing or if it can be altered.
3. Is there any local handymen who hire themselves our for small jobs. Have a dryer I need to hang and also need to work out what venting I need to buy for it first.
Happy to pay for all of the above, just wondered if anyone has any recommendations.
For those of you in my street (Royleen) I have a lab retreiver who is just settling into the house and was used to being up a very private and quiet drive way and is finding it all very existing. Hopefully he won't be too noisy. I will be putting extra fencing up to keep him at the back of the property. He sounds means but would actually lick you to death. He does like to escape so if coming into property please make sure you shut the gate until I get the new fencing. I am home alot as work from home as well as out and about, so he is usually inside if I am not here. Thanks for your patience if he becomes a problem let me know. He seems ok at the moment but you never know when you are not home. Also have two cats and one I am babysitting so they will be allowed out in the next week or two. Thanks to all those that sent me messages of welcome, still getting used to this system.
