Our New Brighton branch is moving and we will be closing for a few days next week

The Team from Citizens Advice Christchurch Area

We are really pleased to be moving just around the corner from our current office into larger premises. Giving us more space to help members of the community.

The address is still 133 Brighton Mall, but we will be on the Mall itself.

To do this we will be closing for 3 days
– from Monday, 29th September to Wednesday, 1st October
– then opening on Thursday, 2nd October.

While New Brighton is closed we still have our 2 other branches open if you need to pop in to see someone.
- North branch – 4 Jeffreys Road, Fendalton (Fendalton library) - 03 351 7804
- West branch - 8 Goulding Avenue, Hornby (Community Centre) – 03 349 5236

Phone calls will be forwarded to our lovely volunteers at Hornby.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
