Friday 26th and Saturday 27th

Johnnie Martin from Fu Manchu Street Food

Kia Ora neighbours and friends!
This weekend is us fully back and in full swing since before the lockdown started. If you haven't before, come on down and try something delicious, local and new!
On Friday the 26th from 5pm we will be open and serving Fu Manchu asian fusion street food. Vegan meals, gluten-free and dairy-free options available, with mains, sides, steamed buns, desserts, and kids meals.
On Saturday the 27th from 5pm we will be open and serving Johnnie Nachos; our Mexican inspired alter ego. Also sporting vegan meals, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with its own mains, sides, desserts and kids meals.
We have an online ordering app (for mobiles only) available from our facebook page:
www.facebook.com.... Just click 'shop now' up top of the page. We encourage our customers to place their orders via this app to avoid wait times, and cold weather, but it is not necessary. Lighting, seating and tables, music provided :)

Also, we run a birthday, special events and wedding cake baking business. We make one of a kind, custom cakes and cup cakes for all occasions. For more information go to www.facebook.com...

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
