Subject: Bromley smells
Hi
I am running a petition to get to the bottom of the smell here in Bromley, and wonder if you have smelled it also as I don't know how far it reach.
Everybody is talking about climate change, Pollution prevention, and here we have air pollution and nobody care.
last year and so far this year it has been disgusting foul and unacceptable.
You taste it on your lips, your house stinks you curtains couches furniture, your bed, clothes stinks, and we breath it in. Does this come under the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 ?
I am a person who like all the windows open during the day as fresh air is good for the house and me.
The air has been polluted for the last two years, it stinks out my house and makes me sick and very embarrassed and unhappy, as my friends don't like to visit as they can't understand that I stay here and think Bromley is a stink hole I have decided that I need to move as it seems nobody cares as nothing has been done.
I started this record to see how many times we had to put up with this unbelievable unacceptable stink. Usually I am not home on Tuesday and Fridays as I am at my club till 11.30.
Lots of times I just have to leave and go to town but when I get home the whole house smells.
When I go to bed ,the whole room smells when I forgot to close the windows , ( middle of summer)
I have noted it has started at night too, and have to close everything during the night,
Do you really think that this is OK?
This is the day I started to record but probably wasn't able to record all the time.
I really like it if anybody could help, as I need signatures for my petition.
If I all ready called on you, thank you but if you not home and working Ill have missed you.
Please let me know if you interested and we can arrange something.
thank you
Corrie
