Photo competition was a chance to share travel stories
Members of the Acacia Cove Village community recently took part in a photo competition, with travel being one of the categories. What a wonderful experience this was! Looking at all the magnificent pictures and hearing about the travel stories and the different cultures encountered.
This is just one example of the many events run within our lovely community. Our friendly residents are a busy bunch and a lot of the couples and singles travel together. Recently we had a few couples on a cruise to Hawaii. They came back all excited and starry-eyed about their adventure.
What a wonderful privilege to experience the world and all it has to offer!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
