Should Okura Holdings Limited be appealing the Environment Court's decision?

Okura Holdings Limited is appealing an Environment Court decision, made three weeks ago, which effectively quashed its plans to build 1000 homes next to the Long Bay-Okura Marine Reserve. The court concluded the Rural Urban Boundary should not be extended to incorporate the developer's plans. Okura Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Todd Property is taking its appeal to the High Court, with its managing director Evan Davies stating "there are fundamental matters of law that require further consideration by the courts". Long Bay Okura Great Park Society's convenor, Pat Baskett, however, said it is part of a developer's "relentless drive for profit". What are your thoughts? Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
