New Kaipatiki Local Board sworn in
We are proud and humbled to have been sworn in as your new Kaipatiki Local Board at a lovely event last Wednesday evening.
After a beautiful Pōwhiri by Ngāti Whātua, each member of the Shore Action team was sworn in as a local board member:
John Gillon, Danielle Grant, Melanie Kenrick, Paula Gillon, Adrian Tyler, Dr Janet Tupou, Erica Hannam and Tim Spring.
John Gillon was elected as Chair of the board and Danielle Grant was elected as Deputy Chair.
Thankyou to all of our friends, whanau, local organisation representatives who attended.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
