Smiths to Kitewao Bridge Open
The bridge/boardwalk between Smiths Bush Scenic Reserve and Kitewao Street Esplanade Reserve has been repaired and is now open again.
Enter through the open grass area at the back of Smiths Bush, or from a driveway on Kitewao Street. (See the attached maps as both entrances can be tricky to find as there is no signage).
Later this year, work will begin on dredging the pond and constructing a bund to prevent seawater from depositing ocean sediment.
