Pemberton Reserve Upgrade Continues
The Pemberton Reserve playground in Bayview is temporarily closed while the final piece of play equipment is installed, the cushion fall is replaced, and new logs are installed to replace the rotten timber edging. The rest of the playground was updated a couple of years ago but unfortunately the climbing piece was delayed until now.
The project is due to be completed by 24 February 2020.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
