New Beach Haven Road Crossing
Auckland Transport will soon begin work on the construction of a new raised pedestrian crossing outside 190 Beach Haven Rd and a stormwater drainage catchpit.
Work will begin on Monday 11 September and continue for approx 6 weeks (weather dependent). Hours of work are 7am to 5pm and stop/go traffic management will be in place. There will also be a temporary walkway for pedestrians.
The project was consulted on earlier this year and is proceeding as designed. It includes installing yellow lines at the Paragon Rd intersection to make it safer for exiting vehicles.
