Did you know that if you ...
-have not received a voting pack in the mail
-have lost or damaged your voting pack
-have not enrolled to vote when the electoral roll closes, but do enrol before election day
-are eligible to vote but your name does not appear on the final electoral roll
..you can cast a special vote .

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
