Congratulations to our teacher Jenn who today, celebrates 12 years at Uplands Kindergarten.
Jenn is first to kindy every day,
she opens the door to welcome us and say "hey!"
Jenn loves to high five and even more, she loves hugs
Jenn doesn't like to hold any worms or bugs
Jenn loves to play in the rain and get wet
Togs Day is a favourite, wearing board shorts - get set!
Pikelets and muffins, Jenn loves to cook
Art and activities, enough to write a book
Jenn is a special teacher, a colleague, a friend
We love Jenn to the moon and back, and send 
Lots of love and thanks and joy and affection
to this special person - you are perfection.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
