SkyCity fire update - traffic, road closures and bus disruptions

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The SkyCity fire is continuing to burn on Wednesday morning - with severe gales and rain forecast. There have been major road closures and bus timetable changes. Make sure you're up to date with the latest:

TRAFFIC: Due to major traffic delays expected in central Auckland, we are advising Aucklanders to avoid unnecessary travel into the city centre," says Auckland Transport spokesperson John Nottage.
"If you can work from home or from a non-central location, or start work later in the day, we recommend you do so. More updates here.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Auckland Transport says detours are affecting the NX2 22A, 22N, 22R, 221X, 223X, 24B, 24R, 24W, 243X, 248X, 82, 802, 923, 75, 18, 151X, 171X, 172X, 195X, 209, 105, 106, 110, 125X, 129, 132, 132X, 133, 133X, 134 InnerLink and OuterLink bus services. The Team from Bach Musica NZ

Join Bach Musica NZ for a festive finale to our 2019 season with beautiful works by Bach, Vivaldi, Dvořák and Wagner. Let us take you on a journey through two of our favourite eras, beginning with Bach’s Concerto for Oboe & Violin featuring our concertmaster Yanghe Yu and Principal oboist Alison Dunlop, followed by Vivaldi’s joyous Gloria.

Also in the programme, the most beautiful of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances and his triumphant Te Deum. To top it off, world-renowned bass Martin Snell will sing Wagner’s beautiful Song to the Evening Star.

Conducted by Rita Paczian, who is celebrating her 25th anniversary as Music & Artistic Director of Bach Musica NZ, this concert will be a wonderful way to commence the Christmas season.
