New Bus Network for East Auckland

AT Representative from New Network- East Auckland

East Auckland! It’s your turn to jump on board with the New Network. On 10 December, everything will change in the Eastern bus network, including routes, route numbers, timetables and bus stops. This will create a more connected, frequent and simpler network for all Aucklanders.

As part of this implementation, there will be changes to the 380 Aiporter service, which is doubling in frequency as well as a new hourly service from Botany to Beachlands & Maraetai. School Buses will change also, but this will not take effect in Term 1 of 2018.

An information pack detailing all these new services will be sent to all homes in East Auckland, and available online from mid-November.
These changes have already happened in Hibiscus Coast, South Auckland and in the West, so what are you waiting for? Find out everything you need to get ready.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
