The Waiuku Business & Development Association are really excited, along with local enthusiast club Rusty Studs, to bring the 2024 Waiuku Steel 'n Wheels Festival, our very own event, home-made in Waiuku, which has such a great following after it first revved up our town centre 12 years ago. This iconic event is a car enthusiast’s dream, but has something for everyone. From Vintage cars to Hot-rods to Tractors, and everything in between.

This year brings new attractions and some favourites including the infamous fire breathing Jet Car, a different kind of fire power from the Quad 50, a Pistol display, lots of booms and bangs, dreamy classics on wheels, live music, dancing, drummers and even some action in the sky with a variety of aircraft including chopper joy rides! Wander the outdoor markets full of crafts, gifts and delicious treats or relax with a coffee or a cold beer at one of our cafes or bars. For the kids; visit the carnival, take a train ride, have your face painted, chat to the Police or Fire fighters, and of course eat candy-floss! Glenbrook Vintage Rail will be running their normal Sunday trips between Glenbrook and Waiuku, arriving at Victoria Ave station by the Cosmopolitan Club. For more info and train fares visit

Don't miss this awesome family day out in Waiuku. $5 Entry and Gold coin for Kids, with all proceeds supporting the continuation of this community event.

We are back!

Disclaimer: Grief is not limited to huge life tragedies and loss! Your grief could look like: losing a friendship, experiencing a breakup, death, family changes, moving away, changing/losing old parts of yourself, personality changes, or whatever you feel has brought up feelings of loss/disorientation. All flavours and variations of grief are welcome.
___

How do we bravely feel the truth of what is seemingly no longer, while transitioning into living a life honouring the newness in who we are becoming, after experiencing loss? Grief is a rite of passage into reconnection with our soul.

At ‘Glitter in Grief’, you are invited to experience a shift into this awareness as Soul-First Guide, Ellie Bambury, welcomes you into a whole new way of communing with your grief, through cultivating a relationship with your higher self and deeply transforming every relationship in your life.

We only ever grieve that which we authentically care for, right? Yet, sometimes, what we are actually grieving for can get lost in translation. Being able to recognise what gives our lives real substance will inspire us to pursue vibrant new beginnings, with deep holistic awareness.

>>> This event is designed to reignite you with your soul to move through grief with a deeper feeling of love & genuine connection, and ignite your desire to consciously step into the new, fresh way of being your soul is calling you towards.

A taste of what to expect:

> Discover Ellie’s enlightening new paradigm for accessing and expressing genuine feelings

> Explore how developing compassionate boundaries and communication skills helps us to co-create true safety, depth and sincerity in all of our relationships (which is crucial as we move through grief and change!)

> Rekindle your relationship with storytelling: You will have the opportunity to share your story and listen to others share theirs - if you’re not ready to share, then bearing witness to those who are can become a tonic for you.

> Learn how to ‘come home to yourself’

> Play with the future - let’s explore what your soul is calling you towards, as you move through your grief!

And more!

Ellie Bambury Soul-First Guide is here to shift the narrative on how we communicate our genuine feelings and open up a AGE-INCLUSIVE opportunity to connect with Next Level Dreamers from all stages in life. From early teens as young as 12, to Mothers over 20, 30 and 40 as well as the Mature 70, 80, 90 and over! Let’s create truly sincere connections. Discover the glitter hidden in your grief.
