Kiran Reddy from Mount Eden

Tāwhaki’s Ascent to the Heavens

Tāwhaki sought knowledge from the heavens to heal his blind grandmother. Through perseverance, courage, and respect for the celestial beings, he ascended the heavens and brought back sacred karakia and wisdom to his people. His journey exemplified the value of seeking knowledge for the betterment of the community.

Moral: Pursuing knowledge with dedication and humility empowers individuals to uplift their whānau and community.
