Plentiful plants and gardening expertise at Alberton Market Day!

Its Alberton Market Day in two weeks on Sunday 8 March! Experience our quaint market featuring specialty produce and crafts with music, workshops, artisan food stalls and a vintage tearoom!

Its late summer and if things are a starting to bolt in your garden come along to learn all about 'Growing From Seed' with Katrina Wolff from Blue Borage in a free talk at 12:30! Katrina will be at the market all day talking about composting and bio-dynamic gardening and demonstrating seed saving - collect some to take away.

Writer and gardening guru Lynda Hallinan will also be on site with copies of her latest book "Damson From Hedgerow to Harvest" and gorgeous offerings from her garden. Lynda is a fount of knowledge and is always happy to chat at share tips.

Boutique nurseries Admore Herbs & Seedlings and Puriri Lane will have beautiful plants for sale and Marcia from Composed Confusion will have pot plants and macrame hangers.

As always there will be unique specialty produce and crafts presented by the artisans, chefs, bakers and makers themselves; a selection of top food trucks providing lots delicious options for lunch or brunch; live music and kids activities. Don't miss it!
