We Say, You Say: Council Priorities

Reporter Hamilton Press

Hi Hamilton,

What should your city council prioritise this year?

Downtown Hamilton is set to get a major revamp with a 1,300 seat theatre set to be built.

Construction of the Waikato Regional Theatre is estimated to cost $74 million with the sod-cutting ceremony expected to take place in late March or early April.

The Hamilton City Council is set to open up its draft long-term plan for public consultation in March, outlining several key central city projects.

What would you propose if you were in the council chair? Share your thoughts below and don't forget to type NFP if you don't want your comments featured in the Hamilton Press

Send in your little free library images and locations NZ wide

Robyn from Mount Wellington

I’ve been creating a map for NZ with all the little free libraries, so far I have around a lot so far but know especially in the North Island there are many many more. Nationwide they can be found in everything from fridges to bus stops and little library cupboards. Please send a picture and short description of your library or ones you have seen. Dont forget to tell us where it is. I have a Facebook page Robyn’s Fence Art & Little Free Libraries Auckland which has links to the maps as well.
