Uplands Kindergarten is 50 years old
We will be celebrating Uplands Kindergarten’s 50th birthday with a service on Children’s Day, Sunday 1 March, at 10am in Somervell Church, followed by morning tea in the kindergarten from 11am-1pm.
We would love to have our families and alumni join us for this special event. Please RSVP by email, info@uplandskindergarten.org.nz. If you find you are able to come at the last minute – please turn up – we would love to see you and your family.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
