Operatunity invites you to relive the romance and the fun of the 1950’s! Back to a time when vocals met harmonies, our phenomenal singers and band give praise to the greats like Elvis, The Everly Brothers and Bill Haley and the Comets!

The Chicks' very own Suzanne Lynch leads the troupe of performers in our wind-back-the-clock concert Fabulous 50’s, reviving songs from Connie Francis and Doris Day, while Peking Man star Pat Urlich gives his best Elvis tribute, complete with gyrating hips! Karl Perigo will perform songs from the likes of The Everly Brothers and more recently Michael Bublé.

See this toe-tapping trio at the Whangarei Central Baptist Church, 200 Bank Street, on October 6th at 11am. Tickets $34 including lunch. Group discounts available for 10+.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
