Seven Secrets of Meditation
A free beginners course over two consecutive Tuesday evenings.
Dates: Consecutive Tuesdays, August 23, 30; 7:00pm – 9:00pmpm nightly. The structured course will progress through introductory exercises to quieten the mind, to heart meditation, the use of mantras, the four primary branches of yoga and their specifics, and a look at some key lifestyle recommendations regarding nutrition, exercise and other positives supporting meditation.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
