Coronavirus: Where to get tested

Caroline Williams Reporter from Auckland Stuff

A raft of new coronavirus testing centres have opened across Auckland following the confirmation of a new community cluster in south Auckland.
Following the announcement on Tuesday night, the Northern Regional Health Co-ordination Centre recorded over 7800 Covid-19 tests on Wednesday, beating the previous record of 6407 tests on June 23.
Anyone experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms should seek to get a free Covid-19 test at their local general practice, urgent care clinic or one of Auckland's 15 community testing centres.

Why 2021 will be the year of the long weekend

The Team Reporter from Stuff

Hey neighbours,

Good news – 2021 is set to be the year of the long weekend.

Five out of 10 public holidays will be Mondayised (or Tuesdayised in one case) next year, which means if you work a standard Monday to Friday week, you can look forward to some extended breaks.

In fact, once you’ve tacked on the weekends, you’ll end up getting a whopping 25 days off out of those 10 stat days, plus your region’s anniversary day.

Ray from Half Moon Bay

My mother is looking to move into this area and only needs a small flat/space for herself.
She still works plus is involved with sport and hobbies so she doesn’t just sit at home all day depending on others.
Looking between $200-$300 a week.
She’s asked me to check any out places first, my number is +64211630972

Thanks

Is Spring a great time to prepare for garden beds?

Alan from Botany Downs

Look at these awesome blooms!
Is it a good time for garden beds building from old used wood, taken down from fencing? It's sure looks great.

What is your opinion?
