Looking for groundedness?

Eve from Eve Rudkin Mindfulness

Hi Neighbours – with life getting busy again, I appreciate the groundedness I have which comes from my mindfulness meditation practice. It has given me skills to cope with stress, and a sense of more ease in my life.

Come and try it out with our all-comers small group - it is a session to soothe body and mind and includes gentle movement and relaxing simple meditation.

Next one is on Tue 20th Feb 1 - 2.15pm, Meadowbank Community Centre. Come and see what it is like! Contact me - the first session free, then Koha welcome. 021 255 1485

Ps : we usually meet the first Tuesday afternoon of the month but a change of dates this month because of the Waitangi holiday

Click Read More to find out more about what I do - I also offer one-on-one mental wellbeing sessions and custom courses for group bookings.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
