Residents asked to conserve water
Auckland city residents have been asked to reduce water consumption after a main pipe burst.
The 550mm diameter water main burst about 6.45am, flooding the Arch Hill Scenic Reserve in Grey Lynn. No water outages are expected but residents over a wide area of central-west Auckland may notice reduced water pressure whilst the repairs are underway.
The pipe will take up to 24 hours to repair, and residents are asked to reduce water consumption whilst this takes place.
