Pickleball starting up at Auckland Central YMCA
Our first session will be on Tuesday, May 21 @ 10am @YMCA in Pitt St . near the central fire station at the top of the street.
Open to all-comers of any age and fitness level, and no need to join the YMCA, which simply offers the venue and equipment.
If you don't know what Pickleball is you can always Google it, but in simple terms, it's like indoor tennis played with bats (called paddles) instead of racquets, and with a scoring system more like table-tennis.
The main thing is that it is a lot of fun, and anyone can soon pick up the game. So come along for an hour of fun and exercise. The cost is $6, so all you need to do is come along, wearing sensible soft shoes for the courts. Any questions to me are welcome, John Austin @ 022 0914559, or to Gilly Voss @ 021 1501314.
