Hi Neighbours, I am really happy to be offering a Koha Mindfulness class on Sunday at Om in Stonefeilds.

Come along and experience the peace of mind that comes from being in the present moment. I am trained to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, which is proven to help manage stress, anxiety, depression and distractedness. Try it out at this soothing and accessible class for all levels. Including mindfulness meditation and gentle mindful movement.

At Om's lovely big room, Sunday 14th - come at 1.50 for 2pm start.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
