Hello Technology Enthusiasts,
I have had the pleasure to own the second generation Smart watch from Pebble (now taken over by Fitbit).
I have upgraded to Samsung Galaxy watch and hence willing to give away the set of Pebble watches for highest bidder.

I am realistic with my expectation.. so offer anything to exchange or cash.

I have a pair of Pebble Steel watches.
1x stainless steel
1x black stainless steel.

Both come with original box, a spare leather strap and the charging cable.

They are in excellent condition and the black watch hasn't been used at all but experienced few software glitches. not sure of the current state.. but for sure they work.

To be fair, the pastry does look like potato, hence the name. In Russian you call it "kartoshka". It’s neither fancy nor does it have a sophisticated flavour profile but many Russian people very fond of it because of the childhood memories it brings back.
To be honest is nothing more than cookie crumbs mixed with condensed milk and butter. That simple and unpretentious but, nevertheless, delicious.
Somebody think that "kartoshka" is similar to brownie cake. So, to decide, please, come to us and try one of the most popular Russian homemade dessert.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on its own is not a very sexy topic, but trying to predict it using machine learning and data analysis might be!

Our next lecture in the Fascination Science series is on Tuesday 25th June 7pm-8.30pm at Massey University's Albany campus in the Sir Neil Waters lecture theatre. It will look at the colourful history of GDP including criticisms and some clever global estimation strategies.

Although often described as an economic measure, the problem that needs to be solved is not GDP's relevance, but the ability to get quick up-to-date indicators of GDP in a relevant time frame. Information on what happened three months ago is of limited use.

Massey University's Dr Teo Susnjak will outline his approach to building a real-time GDP predictor using machine learning, together with its forecasting results from the past six months.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us at fascination@massey.ac.nz.
